Oxane "Gypsy" Taub is a mother of three and a San Francisco Bay area activist.

Taub became more notable in November 2012 when she appeared at a San Francisco Board of Supervisors Committee meeting (Neighborhood Services Committee) at SF City Hall about a proposed nudity ordinance. She gave this statement:

"Hello, my name is Gypsy Taub. I am the hostess of the Naked Truth TV series that airs on Channel 29, Saturdays at 10PM. First of all, nudity does not harm children. Have you ever seen a child cry because they saw a naked person? What do children do when they see naked people? They laugh. It makes them happy. It does not traumatize them. Nudity is natural and harmless. Our bodies are God's gift and God doesn't make mistakes. Our bodies are sacred and an attack on our right to be nude is an attack on sacredness, beauty, love, freedom, art, and creative self-expression. According to the Declaration of Independence, we all have inalienable rights such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Body freedom is our inalienable right given to us by our Creator and no human being has the right to take it away. Attacks on body freedom are unconstitutional and un-American. Down with Scott Wiener and his fascist legislation. We refuse to go back to the Dark Ages of body shame and sexual repression. No to Scott Wiener. Yes to the Declaration of Independence. Yes to body freedom. Long live body freedom."
